O’Mearas Baylough LTD is located in Athlone , in HEART of Ireland, we are conveniently located just 2 minutes off the M6 Dublin to Galway Motorway, Approx. 1 Hour from Dublin and 40 Minutes from Galway (EIRCODE N37 FH93).
We have been in the motor business in the same location since 1955. We provide Car & Commercial Sales & Servicing. We Sell & Source all makes and models, NEW & USED.

Absolutely great experience here. Their website is very easy to navigate and very informative. I had a car in mind going in and met a sales person named David. He was 100% and helpful as soon as I walked in. He gave me free reign of looking around the car and even taking it for a test drive and made the whole experince flawless. Would highly recommend this Garage to anyone.

I bought a car at O'Meara's Garage over the weekend, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Its in excellent condition, and the very minor issue I noticed was sorted out immediately—no hassle at all.David and Tom, you two are absolute legends. Thank you so much for everything! I was up against time and needed to buy a vehicle, practically immediately. O’Meara’s was my only port of call because it was recommended. I had just one day to work on the issue. Dave helped from the beginning of the day, and unbelievably stayed with me as I looked at a few cars in my price range (which wasn’t a high price, let me add). However I learned that I was as important in there as if I was buying a high five figure car. Dave couldn’t be sounder. I had a million questions for him when I picked the car that ticked the boxes, and he didn’t let me down. I purchased and I had a minor issue with the car a couple of days later, but Dave travelled to me, in literally 10 minutes. I can’t praise the O’Meara service enough, thanks to Dave and the other lads in the garage at the back. It means a lot when you have a person in a job like that, that you can trust.

Very happy with the car I bought about 3 weeks ago from Tom. Great customer service including David collecting me from the train on the day of pick up. Tom met me after hours so I could have a few post purchase issues fixed - which were done no issue - and gave me a loan of a replacement car. Car was NCT'd, super clean and runs great. I really thought that the customer service was exceptional.

Just bought my new car from o meara's ! I love it ! I came all the way from kilkenny and I'm so glad I did ! Not only did I get the exact car I wanted ,but the customer service was second to none ! They went over and above to make sure I was happy leaving ! Full tank of diesel,heaps of air fresheners! And plenty of laughs were had too ... very friendly and very professional! I’ve got my last few cars here, absolutely top class garage to deal with. The lads are very helpful and experienced in all they do from selling and services. Highly recommend the lads, got my Discovery Sport this summer, great price, good service provided and warranty too for the year. Sold my old car back to the lads and got a great fair price from them. Again five ⭐️ service from Davy and Co. 👏

Would 100% recommend. A hassle free, seamless experience. David was great to deal with- not a pushy salesman at all and very helpful. We needed a car ASAP and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the car the next morning after viewing!He even met us at the car hire place so we could swap car seats easily into our new car.

Thanks to David and Tom for a mighty service. I tried a few garages out and by far they were the best to deal with. Not only did they find me a brilliant upgrade from a VW Passat 2012 to an Opel Insignia 2018. The car speaks for itself but it was the quickest bit of business that i have ever done. Can’t speak highly enough of this garage! From deciding I wanted to change my car they were professional and accommodating! David and Tom went above and beyond to facilitate and reassure me including even helping with an out of hours test drive as I got caught working late! I got a top class used car fully serviced with the best after sales support I’ve had after years of buying cars! Highly recommend them! Won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

I got my car from Dave and Tom and I am over the moon! The pre and post customer service is unbelievable from the very beginning, so smooth. Very nice people! They were very helpful with any question I had - communication with them was so easy, and I always got an instant reply. On the big sales day I got picked up from the train station in Athlone, went for a test drive and then they even delivered the car to Tullamore! Absolutely great service and the car is as new - immaculate condition! I consider myself very lucky to go through such an easy first-car purchase. We carried out a pre purchase inspection on a vehicle here today, there were no hidden issues, the car was as described, in great condition with a few superficial faults to be repaired prior to sale , Dave (dealer) was upfront and honest about what the vehicle required before we inspected the car. Workshop facilities were available for us to carry out an underbody inspection (a rarity in most dealerships). Dealer took on board our findings and our client was happy with our report and the vehicle.
